The use of raw or derived user data received from Workspace APIs will adhere to the Google User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

- LifeLoad runs natively on your Mac. Calendar data is processed locally where possible and synced securely with our API.

This Privacy Policy covers how we treat personal data that we gather when you access or use our Services. "Personal Data" means any information that identifies or relates to a particular individual. This Privacy Policy does not cover the practices of companies we don't own or control, or people we don't manage.

Cognitive Load Data
- Self-reported meeting ratings (Easy, Moderate, Hard, Super Hard)
- Derived cognitive load scores and burnout trajectory
- Context switch detection data
Device and Usage Data
- Device type, operating system, and app version
- IP address and approximate location
- App usage patterns and feature interactions
Payment Data
- Payment card type and last 4 digits (processed by Stripe)

How We Share Your Personal Data
We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with:

- Enterprise Customers: If you use LifeLoad through an organization, your administrator may have access to anonymized, team-level cognitive load data. Individual calendar details and personal ratings are never shared with employers.

Enterprise and Org-Wide Data
For enterprise deployments, LifeLoad provides anonymized, aggregate cognitive load metrics to organization administrators. Individual data stays private. Leaders see team-level patterns and department rollups, never personal calendars or individual meeting ratings.
Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you Services. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us. Enterprise customers may configure org-wide data retention and export policies.
Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption at rest and in transit, network isolation, access controls, and regular security audits. LifeLoad runs natively on macOS with local processing where possible, minimizing data exposure.

- Access and Portability: Request a copy of your personal data

- Opt-Out of AI Training: Disable use of your de-identified data for model improvement in your account settings

Our Services are not intended for anyone under the age of 16 or under the applicable age of majority in your jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the Services. Continued use of LifeLoad after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
