We don't have any open roles right now, but we're always interested in hearing from people who care about developer experience, native macOS apps, AI/ML, and workplace wellbeing.

Why this work matters

Knowledge work has a measurement gap. We track revenue, output, and velocity, but the thing that quietly determines all of them, whether people can actually think, goes unmeasured until someone burns out and leaves. LifeLoad exists to close that gap. We turn the calendar, the most honest record of how a person spends their attention, into an early signal for cognitive load and burnout risk, so problems are visible while they are still fixable.

That puts our work at an unusual intersection: a native macOS app that has to feel effortless, system level meeting detection that has to be reliable across Zoom, Teams, Meet, and the rest, AI that has to say something genuinely useful in a sentence rather than a paragraph, and a deep respect for privacy because this is sensitive data. If building something honestly helpful out of hard constraints sounds energizing rather than exhausting, you will feel at home here.

What we look for

We care more about judgment and care than years on a resume. We like people who finish things, who can hold both the craft details and the human outcome in their head at once, and who would rather ship a small honest feature than a big hollow one. Because we are deliberately small, everyone here owns real surface area and sees their work reach people within days, not quarters.
